Essentials of Poland foreign policy in Post Cold War Era and Poland's access to the EU

The collapse of Poland 1795 is the beginning of Germany's modern history. After Prussia that was vassal of Poland before, gained a sizeable portion of its former territory, it was determined that the vast majority of people living on this land were created by the Germans and the Poles. The most significant transformation in Poland has been politically and every part of the country influenced of that. It was seen that another riot that began in January, 1863 broke out after a long-term quarrels in Poland of Russia. Problems with these two countries have since determined the political status of Poland. It was seen that an economic restructuring that was started in 1989 in Poland was at stake. World countries followed these developments and investments oriented at the rate of development were carried out for Poland. Rapid pace of development and changes have led to Poland to become a modern country. It was observed that the life standard became comparable to the standard of living in the Western European countries. Our study consists of three parts. In the first and second parts, the history of Poland (1795-1914) was examined. How the progression of Poland proceeded between the years 1914-1918, First World War and independence period, what the Second World War that was in progression between 1939-1945 brought to Poland, and what the Poland's independence period and disappointments are, what the stages of re-establishment of Polandare, how the relations between the border countries and Poland developed are examined. Cold War Period was gone through deeply in the second part of the study. The present situation of Poland and in what condition of its economy was and what improvement was shown were examined in the third part of our study. In the conclusion part of the study, what kind of change was shown between the history of Poland and present situation was expressed.
