The effect of effective teaching leadership on teachers? devotion to the institution

This research aims to introduce the effect of effective teaching leadership on teachers? devotion to the institution. For his purpose, a questionnaire has been conducted on a sample group of teachers chosen from among the teachers of İstanbul, Büyükçekmece County Elementary School and the school principals? perception and devotion levels in relation with possessing teaching leadership manners are examined.According to the results of the research, it is determined that school principals? possession level of teaching leadership manners is significantly associated with teachers? devotion to the institution. It is obseved that as the frequency of school principals? teaching leadership behaviours increases, the teachers? level of devotion to their institution also increases.Key Words: Leadership, Teaching Leadership, Institutional Devotion, School Principals, Teachers
