A research about the relationship between institutionalization level and uncertainty avoidance of ethnic entrepreneurs in Poland

Abstract (EN)
Companies manage to survive under the extent of their rapid adaptation abilities to changing conditions. In the process of adaptation, institutionalization has a key role for companies. Systematizing and standardizing all the processes while grazing human factor determines the level of institutionalization. In this study, effects of formalization, professionalization, autonomy, social responsibility, transparency and consistency which are the components that determine level of institutionalization to dimension of uncertainty avoidance which is stated in Hofstede's cultural dimensions study have been aimed. In the content of the study, data has been collected from 41 Turkish participants among ethnic entrepreneurs in Poland in person via questionnaires. According to results of the study, it has been found that formalization, professionalization, autonomy and consistency have a significant relationship with level of uncertainty avoidance while transparency and social responsibility have no significant relationship with level of uncertainty avoidance.
