Abstract (EN)

Aimed this study was aimed to assess the Evaluation of vitamin E, Lipid peroxidation, IL-6, IL-8 and some hormones in serum and seminal plasma (Oligozoospermia and azoospermia) of infertile men. And research into the extent of changes that occur in immunological tests, which may lead us to identify the causes of changes in some trace elements and important hormones in the formation of sperm in men. 155 samples were studied, where group A consisted of 50 men with azoospermia aged 18 and over, group B: consisted of 50 men with azoospermia and group C: consisted of 55 men who had no problems with azoospermia (control group). They were selected, which were divided according to the number of sperm into the patient's group (Oligozoospermia and azoospermia) and healthy groups (the control group) into three groups, and the results of the study were as follows: With increasing age, problems with sperm production increase in men, and dietary diversity and lifestyle may directly affect sperm formation. Also, weight had a direct effect on men in the two groups (infertile men) when compared with the control group. The mean body mass index changed little, indicating a slight effect on sperm count. Our study confirmed that low levels of testosterone may have a direct effect on the number of sperm, but after receiving treatments, it led to high levels of testosterone, but the problem remains the same, which indicates the association of infertility (sperm disorders) with another problem that may be hormonal. The quality and number of sperm increased in men who had high or normal vitamin E levels. The immunological problems had a direct effect on spermatogenesis, as the levels of interleukin-6 and interleukin-8 changed clearly in our study. The results demonstrate a direct relationship between a number of pro-inflammatory cytokines and semen quality. Due to its substantial association with seminal parameters and other potential inflammation markers, IL-8 may be used as a sensitive diagnostic for silent male genital tract infection. The study proved that disturbances in the metabolism of fats constitute direct problems in the process of sperm formation in men.
