Abstract (EN)
The aim of the study was to examine the relationship between married individuals' styles of coping with stress and their adjustment in marriage and to offer suggestions to move it to a better point. In this context, analyzes were made between variables by measuring the stress coping strategies and marital adjustment of married individuals. In addition, evaluations were made according to gender, age, educational status, marriage age and marriage year. Participants were informed and the Stress Coping Styles Scale, Marital Adjustment Scale and Multidimensional Perceived Social Support Scale were administered. The sample of the research consists of 150 couples. As a result, it was obtained that the marital harmony of the couples was highest in coping with problem-focused stress with similar choices, followed by emotion-focused with the same choice, and then with different choices, the lowest.
