Özet (EN)

In this study, municipal wastewater treatment by Modified Five Stage Bardenpho (MFSB) process was investigated. Pilot-scale reactor consisted of primary clarifier, anaerobic, anoxic1, aerobic1, anoxic2, aerobic2 and secondary clarifier tanks. At operation period COD, TKN, NH3-N, NO3-N, NO2-N, TN, PO4-P, TP, SS, VSS were analyzed and changes of these parameters at every tank were investigated. In this study, 86,3% average removal of COD was obtained. At MFSB process, which remove N and P, the average removal efficiencies of TN and TP were 82,4% and 88,7%, respectively. Also average removal efficiency was recorded at 85,7% as TKN, 92,8% as NH3-N, 87,4% as PO4-P, 91,5% as SS and 90,8% as VSS. The data obtained from the study showed that MFSB process can be use efficiently for biologic removal of nutrient. At second stage, a fuzzy logic forecasting model was built by using experimental data. Five different models were defined. At these models operation period (time), COD, TKN and TP of influent wastewater were used as input; COD, TKN and TP of effluent wastewater were used as output. Data, which was obtained from models, was compared with experimental data. Determination coefficients (R2) were calculated over 0,80. These data which were obtained close to 1 showed that fuzzy logic model can be applied for this process and performance of the process can be estimated successfully.
