Abstract (EN)
The selection of facility location is very important for the sustainability and profitability of the enterprises. There is a possibility that the company will go bankrupt because of a wrong location. Appropriate methods should be used when making strategic decisions where the results can be so destructive. This study provides a suitable location for a new facility in eastern region for a feed company operating in different regions. The problem is formulated by using Fuzzy TOPSIS and Fuzzy VIKOR, which are the methods for MCDM problems. Ten criteria are determined based on expert opinions and five alternatives are investigated. Later the results are presented, and the obtained solutions from Fuzzy TOPSIS and Fuzzy VIKOR are compared.
