Faik Baysal's Novel WritingIn this study, novel writing course of Faik Baysal who produced various kind of literary products in Turkish literature since 1940?s was examined. Features of method and content of author?s novels were attempted to determine and Faik Baysal?s position in Turkish literature was evaluated.?Faik Baysal?s Novel Writing? entitled study is composed of two main chapters except ?Conclusion?. In the first chapter, Faik Baysal?s biography and art life, introduction of his literary works and affect during authorship formation process were introduced.In the second chapter which is entitled ?Faik Baysal?s Novel Writing?, ?format? and ?contents? features of his six novels which are the basis of our study were investigated. The novels were analyzed under the title of ?format? in terms of episode plait , point of view, expression techniques, time, place, people and style. Under the title of ?content?, themes in the novels were evaluated.In the ?Conclusion? entitled chapter, the findings in the light of common features of the author?s novels were determined and Faik Baysal?s position in Turkish novel was evaluated.
