Highways are structures that are exposed to different environment conditions throughout construction and service life. We can order these conditions such as climate effect,chemical effect and traffic effect. In this study, chemical effects, which flexible superstructure of highway exposed to, have been investigated. In this scope, Marshall Stability models which have been produced in laboratory in conformity with the technical contract of Highway General Directorate. By puttig these produced models in an environment that is consist of different consentrations of acid (HCl, HNO3, H2SO4), salt ( NaCl, CaCl2), base (NaOH) solutions and pure water, engineering features of them have been clarified . On the other hand, some experiments have been made on the reference models, which have not been exposed to chemical effects, to clerify their engineering characteristics. Comparing results of models that have been exposed to chemical effects and results of reference models, differences and alterations between them have been studied. As experiments going on, to observe effects of chemical environment on models the pH values of chemical environments have been measured.as a conclusion of studied experimental operations, except the reference model, it has been observed that the minimum MS is 440 kg , the maximum MS is 835 kg for average value of asphalt concrete. Also, it has been observed that minimum MS was from the models exposed to 0,5 M H2SO4, practical density (Dp) of these models was 2,32 g/mm3, average ratio of blank was %12,5, the ratio between blank in the aggregate and fullness of connective was %87,32, average ratio of flowing was 13,7 mm, average pH value was 1,09 and the loss of aggregate mass a ratio of %2,57 gravitationlly.
