Abstract (EN)

Aim: The aim of this study is to compare microleakage values of five different fiber post systems in vitro.Materials and Method: In this study, 50 caries free human mandibulary premolar teeth, freshly extracted because of orthodontic or periodontal reasons, were used. Teeth were randomly divided into five groups of 10 teeth each. Post spaces were prepared at 10 mm depth for each groups. Snowpost, DT Light Post, Ribbond, Carbopost and Reforpost fiber reinforced composite post systems were used to restore pulpless teeth. Dual-cure resin cement was used for post cementation. After cementation microleakage test was performed by fluid filtration method. Results: The results were analyzed using a one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) test. Statistically, the microleakage values among groups were not significant (p>0.05).Conclusion: Statistically, there is no different among groups in this study.
