Abstract (EN)
This study was counducted during 2006-2007 at Department of Horticulture, Faculty of Agriculture University of Cukurova University. There different strain namely Balcali, Alata (local strains) and Buffalo (commercial strain) of Ganoderma lucidum were used in the experiments. The aim of this study was to observe mycelia growth of different strain on different growth medium (PDA, CYM). Also comparison of different quality properties of fruting bodies grown on different sawdust culture medium (A, B, C) was aimed.According to the results of the experiments, solid CYM was found to be the best medium for mycelium growth. For the yield and quality properties of the fruiting body medium C was found to be better than others. Buffalo strain was found the best as regard to mycelia growth, mushroom weight and yield considered.
