Özet (EN)
Today, it is possible to produce composite materials by using alkali activators together with waste materials (slag, fly ash and silica fume etc.). Environmentally friendly alternative materials produced can contribute to reducing the amount of cement production. In this study, alkali activated concrete samples were produced by preparing different mixtures containing metakaolin, hazelnut shell ash and YFC as mineral additives. The produced alkali activated concrete samples were resistant to different curing conditions (Su-25 ºC, Su-60ºC and Air-25 ºC) after 20 hours of temperature activation (60 ºC). After the curing, compressive strength, density and abrasion tests were carried out on the hardened alkali activated concrete samples for 3, 7, 28 days. As a result, time - dependent changes of strength and abrasion properties of alkali activated concretes with different mixing and curing properties were evaluated comparatively. In addition, changes in abrasion values depending on curing conditions and abrasion cycles were investigated using statistical methods. In general, strength values increased with increasing curing time. Samples with hot water curing (60 °C) reached the highest strength. The lowest abrasion values were obtained in hot water cured samples.
