Analyzing, the players who is playing in different division levels, the problem solving abilities of the soccer players according to league, education levels and sport age

The purpose of this study is to determine the problem solving abilities of the soccer players who play in different division levels according to their positions and sport age.To this study 171 players of football league in 2006 Turkey(Trabzonspor, Kayserispor, Gaziantepspor; Hatayspor, Geçlerbirliği Asaş, Y.Kırşehirspor, Gaziantep belediyespor and Antakyaspor, Gaskispor, E.Şekerspor teams) attended voluntarily.In the study, Problem Solving İnventory Form which developed by Heppner and Peterson(1982) and transcribed in Turkish form by Şahin(1993), were used.For The Statistical Analyses SPSS 11.0 package program was used. After calculating average and standard division with One-Way Anova Test, and to figure out the differences in state and education status Kuruskal -Wallis Test was used. Binary comparison was calculated with Mann-Whitney U Test.In the results of the study there were not seen a reasonable differences between; according to relation of the problem-solving skills of the football players and league level, condition, sport age, nevertheless a reasonable differences were set with the problem-solving skills and education levels.Key Words: Football, place, problem solving
