Abstract (EN)

The research was carried out in order to optimize the seed mycelium production and to determine the yield and performance of the seed mycelium with mycelia taken from 3 Pleurotus (Pleurotus ostreatus (POA), P. djamor (PDJ), P. citrinopileatus (PCA)) species found in the natural flora of our country. For this purpose, commercial mycelles of P. ostreatus (POS) and P. citrinopileatus (PCS) species were used as control, as well as seed micelles obtained from pure cultures of three species. Mycelial growth was investigated on 4 different fattening agar media (wheat extract agar, millet extract agar, oatmeal (flour) extract agar and rye extract agar) for each species. Potato dextrose agar (PDA) was used as control medium. In terms of mycelial growth rate and mycelial density, the best development occurred in PDA and oat media. Among the species, the highest rate of mycelial growth was obtained from the oat flour agar medium with 1.042 cm/day in the POS group and then 1.056 in the PDJ group from the PDA medium. For the yield trial, 5 groups of cotton waste grown in both PDA and Oatmeal agar media were planted in compost and their performances were evaluated. The species that completed the period from inoculation to harvest in the shortest time was PCA (24.79 days), followed by the PCS (27.19 days) group. The highest total harvest among the groups was obtained from POA (786.3 g), followed by the POS (678.6 g) group. In terms of yield values, POS and POA and PCS and PCA groups were not statistically different. In terms of yield performance, native seed mycelium belonging to both Pleurotus ostreatus and P. citrinopileatus species were found as successful as imported commercial myceliums in terms of yield performance.
