Özet (EN)
The aim of this study is to research; the effects of nickel-Titanium graftmaterials with different porosities to bone healing process; determine thedifferences between them; and if their effects are positive, add this graftingtechnique between the existing ones. It is considered that these materials arean alternative to the present ones, similar to the elasticity of bone, biocompatibleand cheap. In our research 30 male rats are used as experimental animals. Forinsertion of the grafts with three different porosities; defects had been made inthe right femur bone of the experimental animals which are separated into threedifferent groups. Graft materials inserted into defects removed at the end of 12weeks and histological samples are prepared using cutting-grinding technique.Histological findings showed that, bone healing is successful with thegrafts which are inside bone in three groups; no significant differences betweengroups and osseointegration occurred between newly formed bone and graftmaterial. It is concluded that Ni-Ti graft materials are an alternative graft materialsand usage is possible with the desired porosity and elasticity. However, research on the subjects like mechanical strength, long term bone healing, application with growth factors and stem cells are needed.viiiKey Words : Nickel-Titanium, Hard TissueCutting- Grinding Technique,Porosity, Bone Healing,Osseointegration.
