Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the bonding strength of different aesthetic post system that cemented with different resin cement and also investigate the PEEK post materials ability for clinical practice. 60 upper central incisors extracted for various reasons were randomly divided into 6 groups (n = 10). The coronal part of teeth was cut off 2 mm above of the cemento-enamel junction. Glass fiber post, PEEK post and 3 different adhesive resin cements (RelyX U200, RelyX Ultimate, Panavia V5) were used in the study. Post systems were standardized to be 1.4 mm in diameter. Each tooth was sectioned to 3 pieces of 1,2 mm thickness. The push-out test was applied to the samples until the bond strength failed at 1 mm / min in the international machine. In this study ANOVA test and Kruskal Wallis H test were used for statistical analysis. Statistically analysis showed that there is a significantly difference among groups (p<0,05). No significantly difference was found between post groups (p = 0.541). However, when the posts were examined within eachother, significantly differences were observed in both post groups. While the bond strength between RelyX Ultimate cement and PEEK post was found to be lower than the other PEEK post cement bond strength (p <0.05), no significantly difference was found between the bond strength of Panavia V5 cement and RelyX U200 cements with PEEK post. As the bond strength between glass fiber post and Panavia V5 cement was found to be statistically lower than other glass fiber post and resin cement systems (p <0.05), there was not statistically significantly difference between the bond strength values between RelyX U200 and RelyX Ultimate cement and glass fiber post. In the study, bond strength failure types between posts and adhesive resin cements were examined with a stereomicroscope at 40X magnification. The highest rate of failures that reported among to groups in this study was adhesive failure. As a result of the study, the use of PEEK material as a dental post is promising because there is no statistically significantly difference (p = 0.541) was observed between glass fiber posts in terms of bond strength.
