Abstract (EN)

Potato, which is a one-year cultivation plant, can be easily adapted to various climatic regions and has been grown successfully in almost every part of the world and its consumption has increased rapidly by using it in different ways. Potato harvesting is performed by hand or picking from the field after picking with potato harvesters. There are some disadvantages in the cultivation stages such as harvesting, transportation and storage of this plant. In this study, it is aimed to determine the operating parameters of two different blades of potato harvesting machine which has an important place for agriculture of our country. In order to determine the operating parameters of potato harvester, experiments were carried out with 2 different blade types at 3 different machine speed. As a result of the experiments; product damage ratio, work performance, traction force, wheel slip, fuel consumption values were obtained. Differences between flat blade and hook blade were determined. As a result of the study, operating parameters were determined in 2 different types of potato harvesting machines. The optimal working limits of the potato harvester were determined.
