The effect of different sports branches on physical and conditional parameters of athletes

The purpose of this was study; to compare the physical and conditional parameters of athletes in different sports branches. In Research total (n = 45) volunteered to participate in sports branches who within the active volleyball, basketball and handball teams struggling the 2015-2016 season in the third division team from Diyarbakır in Kayapınar municipalities. Consider the demographics height, weight, age, parameters were evaluated. As physical properties; arm length, fathoms length, shoulder width, chest circumference, arm circumference, forearm circumference, waist circumference, triceps, abdomen, parameters such as suprailiac were evaluated. The conditional parameters of the right forces, force left, vertical jump, standing long jump, leg force, force test measurements were evaluated on their backs. Demographic measurements in basketball, handball and volleyball was found significant differences in height and weight between the groups (p <0.05). The physical properties of this sports shoulder width, arm circumference and waist circumference was found a significant difference in this groups (p <0.05). conditional terms of features was found a significant difference (p <0.05) in strength right, long jump, leg strength and back strength among these groups. Demographic and physical of these groups to determine the difference in the comparison of conditional parameters with descriptive statistical analysis of the Kruskal Wallis test to compare the two teams Correctional Bonferoni Mann-Whitney U test was used. The results of this study; will help to coaches and sports scientists determine to prepare training programs for athletes and teams whether elections should pay attention to. As well as will helps to athletes be awareness when choose the most suitable sports.
