Özet (EN)

The variation of some plant growth parameters was investigated under limited irrigation conditions of P2088 and P1921 hybrid corn varieties with high yield capacity in Çukurova region. The study was established in greenhouse conditions as a pot experiment. In the experiment, three different irrigation levels were applied as irrigation at field capacity (I100), 75% of field capacity (I75) and 50% of field capacity (I50). In the 55-day trial, 42-day irrigation was applied to all pots. On the 43rd day, all plants were harvested. As a result of irrigation treatments, statistically significant data were obtained. Statistically, I100 treatment increased the plant height and dry matter yield of the stem and root of plant in two hybrid corn varieties. On the other hand, lower plant height and dry matter yield of stem and root were obtained in I75 and I50 treatments compared to I100 treatment. According to the results obtained from the study, it was determined that as the amount of available water increased, the height of corn plants and the plant dry matter yield increased. Key Words: Deficit irrigation, irrigation, corn, yield
