Özet (EN)

Aim: The aim of this study is to evaluate the effect of different resin cement colors and different material thicknesses on the translucency properties of different monolithic zirconia on color parameters and color and translucency. Material and Method: Vita YZ Extra Translucent, Vita YZ High Translucent and Vita YZ Super Translucent were used as monolithic zirconia material. A total of 108 samples prepared in three different thicknesses as 0.5 mm, 1 mm and 1.5 mm were produced in the form of a disc with a diameter of 1 cm (n=6). Color and translucency measurements of the samples before and after the resin cement application were made with a spectrophotometer. Total-etch adhesive resin cement in A1 and A3 colors was applied to the samples. The data obtained from the study were made using IBM SPSS (Statistics Version 26.0) package program. Kolmogorov Smirnov and Shapiro Wilk tests were used and evaluated with three-way ANOVA and Duncan multiple comparison test. Results: According to the results of the study, a statistically significant difference was found between the material type-resin cement color-material thickness interaction for the translucency parameters of monolithic zirconia discs with different A2 color (p˂0.05). A statistically significant difference was found between the average value obtained in A3 color resin cement application of 0.5 mm thick Vita YZ Extra Translucent material and the average value obtained with A1 color resin cement application (p˂0.05). It was determined that the average color change (∆E00) values for each group were not affected by the material type, material thickness, resin cement color and the interaction of these three variables (p>0.05). However, color differences were found above the threshold values of acceptability (∆E00 = 1.8) and perceptibility (∆E00 = 0.8) in all groups. ∆Lʹ parameter values are determined that it is affected by material thickness (p˂0.05); however, it was observed that it was not affected by the material type and the resin cement color (p˃0.05). ∆Cʹ parameter values are affected by the material type (p˂0.05); however, it was observed that it was not affected by material thickness and resin cement color (p˃0.05). ∆Hʹ parameter values are affected by resin cement color and material thickness (p˂0.05); however, it was determined that it was not affected by the material type (p˃0.05). Conclusion: The type and thickness of the material and the color of the cement used affect the translucency of the monolithic zirconium, however it does not affect the color change. However, color differences were obtained above the threshold values of acceptability (∆E00 = 1.8) and perceptibility (∆E00 = 0.8) in all groups.
