Özet (EN)

Purpose of this study was to explore cytotoxic effects of five different universal bonding agents on mouse fibroblast cell lines (L929). Five universal bonding agents (G-Premio Bond, Tokuyama Universal Bond, Universal Bond Quick, Single Bond Universal, Prime&Bond Universal) that including various components were used with a real-time cell analyzer (RT-CES, xCELLigence; Roche Applied Science, Mannheim, Germany, and ACEA Biosciences, San Diego, CA, USA). L929 fibroblasts cell lines (ATCC ® CRL-6364) were cultured in Dulbecco's modified Eagle's medium (DMEM) and supplemented with 10% fetal bovine serum (FBS) and 1 % antibiotics (100 IU/ mL penicillin-streptomycine). The assay was performed E-plate 96 and monitored every 15 min for 72 h. Statistical analysis was performed using ANOVA and Tukey's tests. All tested universal bonding agents showed statistically significant difference cytotoxicity values in three different time periods (24h, 48h, 72h) (p < 0.05). Among the groups compared, G-Premio Bond showed the least cytotoxic effect; and Tokuyama Universal Bond showed the most cytotoxic effect. Different times of all universal dentin bonding systems significantly increased the count of viable cells compared to the control group (p < 0.05). In treatment using universal dentin bonding system it can be observed cytotoxic effect to live cells. The evaluation of cytotoxicity with xCELLigence device is a reliable method and should be supported by new studies on this subject.
