The views of preservice science teachers about the use of web 2.0 tools in teaching

The aim of this study is to determine the views of preservice science teachers about the use of WEB 2.0 applications in teaching in terms of various variables. For this purpose, it was determined Dicle University Ziya Gökalp Faculty of Education, science, biology, physics and chemistry preservice teachers' views according to the variables that; the use of WEB 2.0 applications in teaching activities age, gender, department, computer use level, WEB 2.0 technologies usage year, type of use and availability of teaching. The research model is a descriptive survey model which is one of the quantitive research models. For this purpose, a questionnaire consisting of three parts was used to determine the views of preservice science teachers about the use of WEB 2.0 applications in their teaching environments. The questionnaire form was applied to the preservice science teachers of science, physics, chemistry and biology departments of Dicle University Ziya Gökalp Education Faculty and analyzed by descriptive analysis method. As a result of the research, it was stated that the use of WEB 2.0 applications in the classroom environment will increase the effectiveness of teaching activities and the quality of teaching, it will be easy to use, will increase cooperation and solidarity in the classroom environment and that the teacher has a structure that supports the teaching techniques used in the lessons, It was determined that the use of WEB 2.0 applications at the undergraduate level would benefit him, increase the quality of learning, increase the motivation level of the student and facilitate the participation in the course activities organized in universities without time problems. As a result, it was determined that the opinions of preservice science teachers about using WEB 2.0 in teaching environments were positive and high level.
