Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to determine and interpret the opinions of prospective science teachers about the science lesson of arduino supported robotic coding applications. This research was carried out in accordance with the phenomenology (phenomenology) study model, which is a qualitative research method. In the selection of the research problem, the problems of the teacher candidates about the field education were taken into consideration. 37 pre-service science teachers studying at a state university were included in the research sample. One-on-one interview technique was used to collect the research data. In these interviews, there are semi-structured questions about the use of arduino in science. According to the results of the interviews, they stated that the use of coding in science affects the students and they want to take a lesson about the use of coding with Arduino. The purpose of the use of coding with Arduino in science, its suitability for the learning outcomes, which skills it develops, its positive and negative aspects, its effect on student success, its importance in raising a scientifically literate individual, its relationship with science literacy skills, its usefulness, its suitability for student level, which basic thinking skills affect, which methods The students' participation, the reinforcing effect on the student, their feedback, corrections and their views on the continuity of the course were examined. The results of the research provide information for those who do research in this field. Keywords: Arduino, science education, teacher candidates, robotics coding, use of technology
