Fetava-yı Ali Efendi (Pages no: 031A-060B) introduction-analysis-comparative text-index-facsimile

In this study, a part (pages no: 31a-60b) of one of Ottoman Empire's sheikhulislams', Çatalcalı Ali Efendi's manuscript titled `Fetava-yı Ali Efendi` was examined. These papers were compared with the corresponding pages of a different copy and a translation was written. Analysis on spelling features, phonetics and morphology was carried out. The study is composed of five sections: introduction, review, text, index and facsimile. In the introduction part, information about the features, the author, the subjects, the content and the recorded copies of the work are given. In the review section, the spelling features, the phonology and the morphology of the work is discussed. In the text section, the transcription of the text along with the page and line numbers was transferred to the text. It has also been compared to another copy and the differences were shown with footnotes. At the end of the study, facsimiles of the examined papers were placed.
