Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this research is to examine the relationships between the physical activity levels of special education teachers and their emotional states and levels of fatigue. A general survey model was used in the study. The study group was determined according to the convenience sampling method and the purposive sampling method. The data collection instruments include a "Personal Information Form" and quantitative and qualitative questions for physical activity level, emotional state, and fatigue level. Descriptive statistics for special education teachers were provided before data analysis. As a result of the normality test, nonparametric tests were used for correlation and comparison analysis. The results indicate that the province of residence, type of school, and smoking habits are not determining factors; however, gender, type of institution, and whether one engages in sports create significant differences. It was found that men's levels of physical activity and happiness are higher than those of women, while women's levels of fatigue are higher. It has been determined that employees in Public Education and Special Education institutions, as well as those in the private sector, experience higher levels of fatigue. Participants who engage in sports have significantly higher levels of physical activity and happiness. Correlation and regression analyses have revealed positive relationships between physical activity and happiness, and negative relationships between happiness and fatigue. Overall, the research suggests that while physical activity can increase happiness, it may not be sufficient on its own to reduce fatigue. It is recommended that making physical activity a way of life, especially the development of support programs aimed at reducing women's fatigue levels, balancing the workload in institutions, and implementing work-life balance policies. Additionally, it is suggested to promote social and institutional activities that encourage sports.
