Abstract (EN)

Offices are the places where employees spend the most of their time. The physical workplaces offered by employers, affect the job satisfaction and performance of the employees. Employees' job satisfaction and performance also have psychological and physical results. It has been determined that organizations are financially affected by the psychological and physical problems of the employees. There are 899 registered accommodation facilities in Antalya. This constitutes approximately 42 percent of accommodation facilities across Turkey. It has been observed that the physical work environments of the employees, lack the luxury and quality standards of the hotel in general. This research was conducted with 215 employees in five-starred hotels in Antalya and was supported by qualitative and quantitative methods. In this research, the physical work environments' effects on the job satisfaction and performance of the employees were measured. According to the findings obtained from the research, it was determined that when physical working conditions were high, job satisfaction and performance of the employees had increased.
