Abstract (EN)
In this study, it is aimed to research and apply phosphorescence pigments with different techniques of glass forming. In the first part of this study, which is carried out under six main headings, brief description and structure of glass material is explained. In the second part, contemporary glass art, Studio Glass Movement and glass art history of Anatolia, Ottoman and Turkey are described briefly. In the third part of the study, phosphorescence pigments were defined, structure, types and usage areas were explained. In the fourth part, the potentiality of usage phosphorescence pigments in artistic glass production was researched, workshop equipments and glass forming techniques used in this context were explained and experimental applications were made. The technical limitations encountered during the applications in this section are explained and it is aimed to shed light on future studies. In the fifth part, other artists who use phosphorescence pigments in glass arts were researched and their works have been examined. Personal applications section, which is the sixth and the last, includes artistic glass works with experimental methods used during research.
