Abstract (EN)

After the image fixed on the surface, the development process of the photograph is discussed by means of historical, technical and conceptual terms. The effect of the technically developing photograph on the art through the changing social conditions and structure in the 19th century was also examined. Academic research methods were used to answer questions such as "How did photography affect the art of painting?", "What has the art of painting evolved to?", "What are the relationship, similarity, and differences between photography and painting?", "What are the common concerns of photography and painting?". With the existence of the device, the process of inclusion of photography in the art of painting and their relationship examined in detail. Especially the Avant-garde period and after. The use of photography in the Avant-garde period, which questioned the usual meaning of art and rejected it from time to time, gave a new direction to the art of painting. Photographs have concerns of being like paintings, has begun to see in paintings which made after the 1960's paintings with photographic concerns. Relations were established through this fact. At this point, the data were searched with the visual forms, indicators, and purposes in the pictures and photographs. In addition, the contribution of photography to art has been examined both intellectually and conceptually. In the last chapter, the paintings that are revived by some photographers as the photographic form displayed from the postmodern period to the present day and the examples used as reference points are presented.
