Abstract (EN)
This study aims to define the general parameters affecting the performance of a Photovoltaic Power System (PVPS) and assess these parameters in a practical PVPS pilot application. Under this thesis, the quality parameters are simulated and also real-time measured comparatively. It is possible to find out the PVPS characteristics affecting the continuity of the performance and to form a model by considering the simulated and measured parameters. In this study, the impact of the meteorological conditions and the characteristics of system components to the overall performance are well-rounded analyzed in line with this purpose. The results are reported by using the international evaluation parameters. The final yield and performance ratio (PR) of 5.17 kWp grid-connected 2-axis PVPS system reviewed under this thesis are observed as the following: 2065.2 kWh/y and 84.2 %. These results are compatible with the simulated ones. The resultant final yield means 31.6 % more energy generation compared with a fixed system.
