In this study, the effects of temperature, wind speed, and solar energy on the electricity efficiency of the system in a polycrystalline photovoltaic panel were investigated. For this purpose, an on-grid small-scale (825 W) solar power plant (SPP) with a total installed power of 825 W was installed on the roof of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences on the Çukurova University campus. Module temperature, ambient temperature, inverter internal temperature, wind speed, and solar radiation of the panels forming the power plant were measured. In addition, inverter input (DC) and output voltages (AC) were measured and their effect on electricity generation performance was determined. With the increase in solar radiation coming to the panel surface, electricity production and panel temperature increased, while the electricity production efficiency of the system decreased significantly due to the panel temperature. It was determined that the power generation performance of the system increased by decreasing the panel temperature during windy times. However, it was observed that the power generation performance decreased due to the loss of the converter. As a result, solar power plants should be planned to make maximum use of solar radiation and wind flux. Thus, the system efficiency can be increased by reducing the panel temperature significantly.
