Abstract (EN)

Many researches have been carried out since the end of the 20th century about fractal geometry in the field of design and architecture. The concept of contemporary architecture works in a multidisciplinary manner. Therefore, some new concepts that emerged in other disciplines gave birth to new systems in building design. Interior design is also influenced by technology and science. Therefore, in this thesis, the effects and potential of the fractal structures, which are a new system, are investigated. With the spatial capabilities of interior architecture, the fractal structures which are a technological tool have the potential to solve the space problems of our age. The structure of fractal geometry has become understandable since 1970, when computer technology experienced a leap after 1970. Today it is used as simple concepts in building design. More advanced conspects will probably be applicable in the future. In this thesis, the current situation and its effects will be reached. In the first part, the purpose and method of the thesis is explained. In the second part, conceptual information was given and these concepts were discussed comparatively and the infrastructure of the third chapter was prepared. In the third chapter, space and fractal concepts were correlated and the results were evaluated.
