Abstract (EN)

In 1923, the Frankfurt School was generally founded as an institute of the University of Frankfurt. He started his academic life in 1924 and gained his real identity after becoming Max Horkheimer's director of the institute in the 1930s. The aim of this school was to shed light on how a modernist thesis, the misconception of progressive thinking, and the concept of reasoned mind, which developed in a way, gave results. The school has brought the idea of mind from Antique Greek to the modern period, and indirectly has kept their creatures responsible for the deaths of many people by means of wars. In the study, a re-evaluation was made by taking into consideration the intellectual position and road maps of the school members and the subject was read about the meaning origins of the thoughts. In the first part, the minds of minds are explained in the instrumental mind center by taking into consideration the temporal line which has been studied starting from Ancient Greek. The second part of the Frankfurt School to explain the underlying reasons for instrumental reasoning in the history of his theories to find out the whole of the theories are explained in a way to touch the instrumental mind again. The third chapter is the main part of the study. The philosophers such as Adorno, Horkheimer, Marcuse and Habermas have thought about the mind and ended the study.
