In fusion technique encountered common problems and the solutions

The aim of this thesis is to investigate the fusion technique which is one of the techniques of kiln-forming glass and to solve some common problems in this technique and to find solutions to minimize the problems may occur. It is aimed to eliminate this resource deficiency in our country due to the lack of Turkish examples which is explained or examined the fusion technique which is one of the glass forming techniques. In the first part of the research which consists of five main sections the definition and history of the fusion technique is explained. In the second part, the general principals and application types of this technique are examined in detail. In the third part of the study, the glasses, especially the plate glass used in this technique under the heading of the equipment used in the fusion technique, and production methods were discussed in detail and other major materials and tools were examined under the headings. After giving detailed information about the definitions, general principles and tools used in fusion technique applications up to the fourth part, the problems encountered in the fusion technique applications and the problems encountered in the heat treatment stages and other problems are discussed.
