Özet (EN)

The study called "Concrete Philosophy in Marcel's Philosophy" discussed the place and importance of concrete philosophy in Marcel's thought. With this respect, for Marcel, putting the certainty of concrete existence in contrast to the abstraction and conceptual thinking, the philosophy that is not concrete will ultimately be the adventure of a deadlock. For this reason, Marcel alleges that philosophy shouldbe based on an existential (concrete) certainty that is not rational or logical. These concrete certainties, first of all, begins with experience of the human beings located physically in existence. From this standpoint, Marcel, criticizing the understanding of experience, insists in that there is a metaphysical dimension in experience. With the understanding of the metaphysical dimension, instead of limiting the existenceof conceptual thinking, human beings discover it in its richness. Love,in which the existence of concrete philosophy discussed, the favorite experiences of concrete philosophy, along with fidelity and hope areextremely important for the discovery of this metaphysical dimension. In existential philosophy, Marcel puts into practice the status of individuals passing to the stage of human society by emphasizing intersubjective relationships. For Marcel, who considers human being as missing asset in the condition of ego, human being can find its meaning just only by reaching from ego to ourselves and from there to absolute thou (God). Key Words; 1. Concrete Philosophy 2. Primary and Secondary Reflection 3. Abstraction 4. Being 5. Participation
