Morphonology of Gagavuz Turkish

Morphophonology identifies the distinguishing characteristic phonological qualifications of morphemes, composes the rules to specify the changes that consist of during the unification of these morphemes and generates the theory of morpho-phonological change. These morphological rules specify how to word deviation interacts with the phonology. In this study, tried to state the rules of phonological change bound form of Gagauz Turkish and to specify how to word derivation interacts with phonology. The introductory part eventuates of three subheadings, First one includes information about Gagauz Turks. In the second subheading, after the information was specified on Gagauz Turkish, Morphophonology was clarified in the third subheading, and relevant studies are included. The review part consists of three major topics, derivational affixes, Verbal affixes, and Inflectional affixes were analyzed under these topics. The first major topic of derivational affixes were analyzed under the five subheadings; noun to verb affixes, verb-to-noun affixes, verb-to-verb affixes, morphophonogıcal set phrases, The verbal affixes were analyzed under the second major topic and this topic were analyzed under the three subheadings: Verbal noun, verbal adjective, verbal adverb. The ınflectional affixes which are our last major topic were analyzed under the two subheadings; noun inflection affixes and verb inflection affixes. The results that we achieved are reported as articles in the Conclusion part. The resources that have been used for this research are listed alphabetically in the resources part.
