Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, the powder of triethylene tetramine hexa acetic acid and DL-ß-amino-n-butyric acid which are derivatives of the amino acids were irradiated by ?-radiation. The EPR spectra of the ?-irradiated powder samples were simulated and the EPR parameters radicals were determined. It is concluded from the determined EPR parameters, that the radiation damage center were CH_2 NC ?HCH_2 and CH_3 CH_2 C ?NH_2 radicals respectively above order. Hyperfine structure constants and g-values of these radicals were calculated. This radicals compared with congener radicals? values in literature. Half-lives of radicals were found as 15 days and 3 months.Key Words: EPR, free radical, amino acid derivatives, spectroscopic splitting factor, hyperfine structure constant
