Neverthless, this understanding has changed since the second half of the 20 th century, history has begun to be written socio-centrally. Both in world and in Turkey, with this comprehension, the research over the villages, the cities and the regions spread rapidly, the history and the culture of the ones put into light. Gaziantep is one of these cities. Gaziantep, due to strategic position and climate condition became settlement and passage for the people from the ancient ages. Thus, it provides Gaziantep had great cultural and historical heritage. In this bibliography is prepared related to Gaziantep for who wants to search and put these inheritance into light. It includes the documents belonging to Antep culture and history between 1790-1928. The first places to visit for the historical work are archives. The first hand and the most reliable information is found in there. Therefore the documents are fromXIII Ottoman Premiership Archives and Republic Archives, related to Gaziantep presented as catalogue. When the research is done about cities, of course, the only source is not archives. One of them is former publications about cities. The libraries in Ankara and Istanbul were used when the publications about Anteb between 1790-1928 were searched. The publications of which were reached are some Arabic-letter Turkish works and the popular works of the period, salname.
