Abstract (EN)
Objective: The aim of this study is to evaluate the mutation of TP53, methylation of MGMT for predictive value anti-angiogenic treatment to patient with GBM diagnosis and used Bevacizumab. Method: The glioblastoma multiforme cases which were diagnosed in Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine Department between 2008- 2015 and Irinotekan with Bevacizumab combine treatment taken were reviewed retrospectively. 27 cases were included for the study. All cases were evaluated for age, gender and survival time. MGMT methylation researched with Pyrosequencing. TP53 mutation scanned with High Resolution Melting Analysis. All data evaluated with SPSS ver.18 programme. Results: The presence of MGMT methylation was demonstrated in 12 (% 44,4) cases and the rest of 15 (% 55,6) cases weren't. The patients without methylated MGMT DNA had taller survival compared to methylated group (p= 0,047). TP53 mutation detected to 10 cases. There was no statistically significant difference between mutation and no mutation groups survey (p=0,080). Conclusion: It was concluded that in order to demonstrate the expected predictive and prognostic factors in glioblastoma patients, evaluating the presence of methylation of MGMT. Although mutation of TP53 was not prognostic or predictive difference due to our results.
