Study of importation processes in the food industry and sample of Duru Trade

Today as one of the fastest growing industries in the world, food industry developed greatly with the effect of globalization. In particular, the support of developed and developing countries to the industry assisted to create a great market all around the world. In this context, it is seen that the food industry had support on the development of import and export activities. However, the problems that the industry faced about nourishment health, create various threats for the future of this industry. This issue is one of the greatest matters of industry and the actors of industry are in search for solution continuously. Similar problems are valid for the bureaucratic processes. In particular, obstructions for import make the conditions hard to the development of industry. That's why the industry demands need to change import activities all around in the world. Turkey is a country, which has an important role in nourishment industry. Concurrently, Turkey has an active market in issue importing of nourishment products. Thus Turkey has applications in its own market, especially it has a bureaucratic process in importing activities. In this study has been tried to explain import processes in the food industry with the situations of Turkish markets and all over the world. In the last chapter of study included six inverviews with the authorities of Duru Trade company, which is in food industry, to identify the problems during the import process of company and to have information about health operation processand operational criteria for food products.
