Economic intelligence facts from past to present and Turkey

With globalization, the interaction between the countries has reached the highest level. Countries resort to following each other in line with their interests and collecting information about the countries they follow, regardless of their friend or foe country. Especially today, due to the development of technology, access to information is easier. Analyzing the information with the right method is also of great importance. One of the most important reasons for the activities of collecting information and analyzing the collected information is economic interests and economic purposes. Economy is one of the basic building blocks of countries. It can affect many areas from commercial activities of countries to military activities. The country, which is the most important country in the world, can have a say in the world. The fact that the economy is strong has a great role in the development, development and growth of countries as a 'strong country' in the global world. One of the most important tools of listening is Economic intelligence. Turkey, as a developing country, is open to development in many areas and at the same time, it is a country in need of development. The phenomenon of economic intelligence is one of these areas and it is of great importance for Turkey's present and future. In this study, in which this subject is discussed, besides giving an overview of the phenomenon of economic intelligence, its importance for Turkey and a feasible model proposal are included.
