The evolution of wit in Turkish theater from past to present

The wit which is very basic fort he production of ridiculous has evaluated from past to present. There are some socio-cultural evaluations which determine the function of wit and its relations with theatre components in Turkish Theatre. In this study, the data were obtained from the research documents. By the way of scrutinizing the documents of Turkish and foreign common publications, boks, theses, interviews, internet sources, plays and film videos a theoretical frame has been done. At the end of the qualitative research, it is seen that there has been an evaluation in Turkish Theatre from Meddah to Karagöz, Ortaoyunu, in Tanzimat Era to "Şair evlenmesi, in Meşrutiyet Era to "Pazartesi Perşembe", in Cumhuriyet Era to "Sersem Kocanın Kurnaz Karısı", in Today's Theatre to "Çok Tuhaf Soruşturma" and Stand Up to "CM101MMXI Fundamentals", lastly to "Surfing on the Internet" caps. The comedy in Turkish Theatre has a beloved place both in traditional era and West Effect Era. The wit which evaluated in the eras of Tanzimat and Meşrutiyet and in Meddah, Karagöz, Ortaoyunu has changed in today's world. However some qualities of these species which were up to disappear and their main artery wit has shown itself later in comedy works. The wit which evaluated under the West Effect in the process of Turkish Theatre has directed to the joke in concept which is more simple. In this case, it has shown chances about stylistics because of the socio-cultural changes. This transformation has caused the losing of qualified effect of wit in play texts. The wit in the plays which were written after then has moved away from the intelligence components and comic elements which make laugh and think people at the same time. Nowadays, the wit is a basic compenent of internet which is an obligation of technological world and of fast food jokes in social allocation websites.
