Abstract (EN)
The goal of this research is why vintage clothing is prefered by stores and customers from past to now and determine its level of usage.İn this researh descriptive system is used. While getting information survey tecnic is prefered , additionaly sources are searched throughly and reached as many resouces as possible about vintage, second-hand, nostalgia and retro. The extent of research is formed by customers and store owners of İstanbul, İzmir and Ankara. This researh is done with 260 customers and 10 store owners all chosen coincidentally.Numerical and percentage data belong to research is counted with SPSS 15.0 program by making statistical analysis.When the results of researh are evaluated it is stated that vintage cloths are very popular among young people, aslo the longing for past, the desire to look different and interest in noltalgic cloths shows that vintage clothing is getting more important each day, and the store owners are really pleased from customers feedbacks.Key words: vintage, second hand, nostalgia, retro.
