Abstract (EN)
In this study, it is aimed to transfer the richness of artistic data sources to modern furniture production processes in Turkish traditional handicrafts. first of all, Turkish motifs were used in different areas and the motifs suitable for modern wooden workmanship were investigated. Acting on the basic motifs determined, it was ensured that pure motifs were produced in mass production processes and then the effect of processing parameters on the surface quality of processed materials was investigated in order to increase the efficiency of the production processes. In the study, it is also aimed to live traditional motifs in modern life. In this context, firstly, the effect of different machining parameters such as feed speed and axial depth on the surface of MDF surface after milling is investigated. In the measurement of surface quality, Ra values were taken into consideration according to TS971 and mean roughness values were determined by measuring from five different points, each within the range of 4 mm traverse. Then the milled MDF surface is covered with PVC foil. On the coated surface, the measurements made before coating were repeated and the effect of the processing parameters on the surface roughness on the coated and uncoated surfaces in the light of the obtained data was demonstrated by statistical analysis such as t-test and variance analysis. As a result, the most suitable processing parameters have been determined in the evaluation interval for the production of the motif chosen from the traditional Turkish motifs in an effective capacity in the computer environment. In terms of axial depth, no significant difference was found for 6-7 mm depths, in terms of feed rates; It was observed that the quality of the surface deteriorated as the rate of progression on the uncoated surface increased and the quality of the surface increased due to the examined range (5-10-15 m / min) and the applied foil, but there was no significant difference after the coating on the surface.
