Quantative research method was used in the research and descriptive model was used to evaluate the level of emotional intelligence and level of learned resourcefulness and relationship model was used to show any ralationship between the two. The sampling of the study consists of 57 women and 218 men, who work at Antalya Youth Services and Sports Directorate. In the study, "Personal Information Form" and "Rosenbaum's Learned Resourcefulness Scale" were used and this scale was developed by Rosenbaum (1980) and it was adapted into Turkish by Dağ (1991). Also, "Emotional Intelligence Scale – Short Form", wich was developed by Petrides and Furham (2003) and adapted into Turkish by Deniz et.al.(2013), was used in the study. In the research, frequency analysis was used to determine the demographic qualities of the employees and descriptive statistics was used to identify their general average score. In order to identify whether the data show normal distribution or not, the values of Kolmogorov Smirnov test were taken into consideration. In this case, in order to identify wheter there is any difference in their graduation, employment and marital status in terms of their learned resourcefulness level and emotional intelligence, t-test was applied free from parametric tests; (Anova) varience analysis was applied according to their salary, age and how long they have been working in the institution; a non-parametric test Mann-Whitney U test was applied according to veriables such as sex, aducation level and whether they have a sports licence or not; Kruskal Wallis-H testwas applied according to what position he or she has in the institution. In order to identify the relationship between the level of leared resourcefulness and emotional intelligence, Pearson Moments Multiplication Correlation was used and in order to identify the effect simple linear Regression analysis was used. The results were evaluated at the 0.05 and 0.01 level of meaningfulness. At the end of the study, it was determined that the level of learned resourcefulness was meaningfully different according to the veriables of education and employment and the level of emotional intelligence was also meaningfully different according to the veriable of education.
