Özet (EN)

To meet energy needs, many countries are interested in renewable energy sources such as wind energy, solar energy, biomass energy and wave energy. In our country, studies about the usage of existing renewable energy potential have been increasing in order to meet energy demand. In recent years, investments in renewable energy sources and wind energy have increased considerably. In the World, with the installation of large power plants in the field of wind energy, a considerable part of our energy needs has been met. The layout design of wind turbines in wind energy plants is a very important factor. The settlement of the turbines on the field greatly affects the amount of energy produced and the cost. Higher energy production can be achieved in an optimal design. When the wind turbines are settled on the ground, successive turbines are influenced by each other's wind. This interaction is called wake effect. The most appropriate number of turbine settlements should be made considering the size of the terrain for the turbines not to be influenced by each other, to produce energy efficiently and to avoid wake effects. In this study, the plant layout was established with the genetic algorithm at the location of the turbines of the wind field. Seven pieces of wind turbines are expected to be lost without loss of land efficiency, and even when 14 pieces are placed, the solution is reached to produce the most efficient energy without being exposed to wake effect. Even when 21 wind turbines were settled, it was possible to produce energy with a little loss of efficiency.
