Musical culture of Crete Turks

With the conquest of the Crete by the Ottoman Empire have Moslem and Christianroots begun to live together, and it was not until civil wars by reason of their demand ofannexing the Greek Crete to Greece that there had been escapes from the island.Then with the Exchange Pact signed between Turkey and Greece in 1923-1925 had a great number of migrations been realized from the Crete to Turkey. Not only had these migrating groups brought their culture but their music culture as well. This is why the Crete migrants' economy, religion, language.family and music cultures in which we are interested have been investigated.As a result.a lot of variations have been observed with time and place alterations. We also see the variations in music cultures. Particularly as from 1970 these relevant variations have been obvious more and more. Owing to technological and industrial development, language problems and permanent tension in Greece, the variations, the remarkable reasons of which, have been in the foreground. Only when valuated with time after migration and life in the Crete have these events been exposed comparatively.
