Abstract (EN)
As the tourist industry has changed as a result of people's rising desire for unique experiences, travelers have begun to gravitate toward alternative forms of travel. People are now gravitating toward nature-based travel instead of mass tourism since the ideas of sustainability and the environment have begun to acquire traction. Glamping is a kind of ecotourism that promises an opulent camping experience. The main purpose of this research is to reveal the attractive and repulsive travel motivations, behavioral intentions and innovation searches of domestic tourists participating in glamping activities. In this research, which employed two distinct approaches for measurement, participant interviews and questionnaires were sent out concurrently over the internet platform. It was found that the outcomes of the two distinct approaches supported one another, in accordance with the information gathered from qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The study, which was classified as exploratory research, used a convergent parallel design from mixed research methods to enhance the validity and dependability of the research. Individuals' attractive and repulsive travel motivations, as well as their intentions to recommend and revisit the destination they visited, were revealed in the qualitative dimension of the findings from reaching 375 people in the quantitative dimension and 20 people in the qualitative dimension. The quantitative dimension revealed that, in the relationship between travel motivation and behavioral intentions, the dimensions of surprise, boredom reduction, and excitement in the pursuit of novelty did not have a mediating effect. However, breaking away from routine had a mediating effect in the relationship between attractive and repulsive travel motivations and behavioral intentions. Recommendations were made for contemporary tourism stakeholders and academics based on the findings. Keywords; Glamping, Novelty Seeking, Travel Motivation, Behavioral İntentions,
