Abstract (EN)

In the face of emerging environmentalist demands, businesses have started to implement practices for the protection of the environment. With practices aimed at protecting the environment, they demand green hotel practices in order to both meet the environmental sensitivities of consumers and reduce their economic costs. Green applications, which are demanded by businesses operating in other fields, are also preferred by tourism businesses and become widespread. The environmental awareness of tourists against environmental problems affects their attitudes towards hotels that prefer environmentally friendly green practices. Increasing environmental awareness of tourists and consumers' intention to stay in green hotels positively affect. The aim of this study is to examine the effects of golf tourists' environmental awareness, feelings of being in nature and perceived green hotel practices on their accommodation intentions. In the literature, there are not enough studies on the factors affecting the golf tourists' intention to visit green star hotels. It is thought that this study will contribute to the literature in terms of the factors affecting consumers' intention to choose green star hotels. The aim of the study is to investigate the effects of environmental awareness and the feeling of being in nature on the perceived intention to prefer green hotel practices.
