The reflection of printmaking on the creative thinking capabilities and self-efficacy preceptions of the visual arts' teacher candidates

Özet (EN)

The main purpose of this study is to point out whether print making education affects the self-efficacy perceptions and creative thinking capabilities of art students that are visual art teacher candidates. Besides, the other purposes are to find out whether self-efficacy and creativity levels are developed or not; whether there is a relationship between the self efficacy beliefs and creativities of the students and to assess the affects on the selected independent variables.This study has descriptive property and used singular surveillance and related surveillance methods. Studt sampling il 58 people from the second grade Print Making Art Workshop students of seven üniversities Faculty of education Department of Fine Arts. the rate of representitivity of study sampling is 89, 2%.As the consequence of statistical analysis, it is found out that the teaching of print making has positive and significant effect on self-efficacy perceptions and creative thinking capabilities of visual arts' teacher candidates. Besides its seen that there is no significant correlation between self-efficacy with creative thinking and its sub-dimensions: fluency, flexibility and orignality.
