Abstract (EN)
Gotthold Ephraim Lessing resolved to publish a manuscript accompanying it which is written by Orientalist Reimarus, comments and strictures. He published a work under title of `Wolfenbüttel Fragments?. The publication these of fragments led to mighty controversy. The most eminent of those who had attacked Lessing, was Pastor Melchoir Goeze. This Fragments, on the `toleration of religions? awakened opposition; for the eighteenth century, though intolerant enough, did not parade its bigotry, but rather saw fit to disclaim it. Shortly after his fragments were forbidden by Catholic Church of Hamburg city, Lessing published his play `Nathan the Wise? as an unprecedented answer.Key Words: The Age of Enlightenment, Decameron, Tolerance, Jerusalem, Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Ring Parable
